When you open a set with some elaborate opinion opener, they feel your hidden agenda and it makes you give off a creepy vibe. It is simply too try hard.
First of all, you should be the guy that everyone knows in college. Make yourself well known at all cost. You shouldn’t have to have some elaborate opinion opener to get to know someone, a girl should already know who you are.
College is about social circle game. College is a big social circle. At all times, you want to communicate as if you are part of the “in” crowd. When building your social circle, your goal should be to know as many people as possible. Long before you try to get her attracted to you, she should already know who you are. You should be a very popular guy.
The best kinds of openers to use on campus, are direct or situational openers. If you see a girl you want to talk to, you should be able to walk up to her and say, “Hey, I know everyone here, why don’t I know you?” This communicates that you’re preselected and you’re qualifying her immediately.
