Portage Public Colleges asking voters to go $175 million bond proposal that wouldn’t raise taxes

PORTAGE, Mich. — Portage General public Colleges is inquiring voters to approve a multimillion-greenback bond proposal that would not elevate taxes.

It would look on the Aug. 3 specific election ballot.

If handed, Portage Community Educational facilities would use the $175 million to establish 5 new elementary educational institutions and transform one more.

The revenue would also aid fund other jobs throughout the district.
