Anderson Japanese Gardens asks for origami cranes
ROCKFORD — Anderson Japanese Gardens, 318 Spring Creek Street, is inquiring guests to bring an origami paper crane from household during July to gather 1,000 paper cranes.
A legend exists that if a single folds 1,000 paper cranes, a would like will arrive true. The gardens hope to have 1,000 cranes on exhibit by the end of July.
All those who deliver a crane will get $1 off admission and a clip to cling the crane. The low cost is relevant for every man or woman Mondays as a result of Fridays.
