Hercules Park workshop established June 10

Zephyrhills citizens will have an opportunity to weigh in on the long term advancement and proposed facilities of Hercules Park.

Attendees are inspired to carry their concepts and thoughts to a community workshop meeting on June 10 at 6 p.m., at Zephyrhills Metropolis Corridor, 5335 Eighth St., in Zephyrhills.

The City of Zephyrhills will host a workshop on June 10, to acquire community input about the growth of Hercules Park. Renovations could aspect a circuitous BMX bicycle track with jumps and rollers, as well as other passive features, based on this conceptual sketch from the project’s marketing consultant, Kimley-Horn. The 12-acre park web page is situated at the corner of County Highway 54 and Gall Boulevard. (File)

Other stakeholders in attendance are predicted to consist of the city’s parks and recreation advisory board, CRA (Local community Redevelopment Company) board and reps from the project’s guide, Kimley-Horn.
