Monroe’s Superintendent of Educational facilities to retire in November

MONROE – The township’s 1st feminine superintendent of colleges will retire Nov. 1, according to Wednesday’s faculty board meeting agenda.

Dori Alvich is the sixth superintendent to go away the district in a dozen decades.

Her retirement came as a shock to a lot of on social media, as Alvich’s contract was not too long ago extended, and had three many years remaining. 

On Fb, neighborhood associates posted that there will be a demonstration of guidance for Alvich at Wednesday’s 6 p.m. conference.

Monroe Superintendent of Schools Dori Alvich will be resigning due to retirement as of Nov. 1.

Alvich, who has been in the superintendent’s posture because July 1, 2019, was a longtime township educator, previously serving as the district’s assistant superintendent of colleges from 2014 to 2019. She begun in the district 17 yrs ago as an assistant principal at Mill Lake Elementary and Woodland Elementary Colleges and also served as principal at Brookside Elementary Faculty.

“This is a catastrophic decline to the district,” stated Michael Gorski, the district’s company administrator and board secretary. “Lee Iacocca when said, ‘The essential to achievements is finding out all the things about your business from the mailroom up.’ And there is no superior instance personified of that than Dr. Alvich. She is a real academic specialist.”
