Early voting in Alexandria Faculty Board major is heading well

Early voting began Friday, June 25.

3 candidates – Jeff Persistence, Maureen Eigen and Jeremy Smith – are vying for a specific 1-calendar year time period. Since far more than two candidates submitted, a most important election will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 10 and the two candidates with the most votes will be on the ballot for the Nov. 2 specific election.

About 175 ballots have been cast at the Alexandria Faculty District place of work at Woodland Elementary College as of July 16.

“It has been likely well,” said Maggie Timm, the district’s administrative assistant. “We are about 50 %-way via the absentee voting period for the major election and we are seeing a reasonable total of voters occur by means of each and every day.”

When requested if there has been any confusion about the primary, Timm emphasised that the purpose of the most important is to narrow the field of candidates down to two. Even so, voters should only cast a vote for a single candidate in the key election, Timm stated. The two candidates with the most votes will shift on to the exclusive election in November.

The district hasn’t been given a lot of inquiries from voters when they are casting ballots.

“Most of the remarks we hear are connected to the several methods involved in casting an absentee ballot owing to the methods applied to reduce election fraud and make sure voter privateness,” she explained.

There are a range of approaches to vote:
