Constance “Connie” Joanne Hansen, 85, of Cedar Falls, passed absent peacefully at her dwelling surrounded by her children on November 10, 2020 from Parkinson’s Condition. She was born Might 25, 1935 in Cedar Falls, daughter of Paul and Frances (Stewart) Hansen. She graduated from Cedar Falls Large College in 1953 and Allen College of Nursing in 1956. On Oct 25, 1956 she married Gordon Hansen, also of Cedar Falls. Connie worked for above 50 decades at Sartori Hospital and Clinical Associates of Cedar Falls in addition to supporting her husband on their relatives farm. In retirement she liked volunteering with Lincoln, Orchard Hill, North Cedar, and Highland Elementary Educational institutions as a reading through aide for the youthful little ones.

Connie was a lifelong member of Nazareth Lutheran Church. She served as a 4-H leader. She was an avid gardener and baker, who enjoyed sharing her yummy cookies. Also she was a committed UNI Panthers basketball supporter. Connie’s most fun contacting was her excellent talent and delight in internet hosting – family members, buddies, overseas trade pupils, RAGBRAI riders, and so on. She and Gordon took good pleasure in sharing their residence and spreading God’s enjoy to all.

Connie was preceded in loss of life by her parents her spouse and her brother, Rev. Roland Hansen. She is survived by her kids Janine (Bill) Marston of Birmingham, AL Steve Hansen of Cedar Falls Chris (Kim Cross) Hansen of Cedar Falls her grandchildren Oliver and Eva Marston of Alabama, Christian Hansen of Ames, and Carina Hansen of Des Moines her siblings: Vernon (Marcia) Hansen of Cedar Falls and Kay (Kyle) Zimmerman of New London, MN, and sister-in-legislation, Marnie (Hansen) Larsen of Idaho, and lots of nieces and nephews.
