Charles LeBlanc Obituary (1935 – 2021) – Opelousas, LA

Funeral companies will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington LA for Charles Ray LeBlanc, age 86, who handed absent Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his residence in Bunkie. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington. Rev. Matthew Higginbotham, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, will officiate at the products and services. Audience will be Vallie LeBlanc and Dawn LeBlanc. Giftbearers will be Jenna LeBlanc Smith, Emily LeBlanc, and Anna LeBlanc. Charles Ray LeBlanc was born on March 3, 1935, to Clarence LeBlanc and the former Lois Ortego. He graduated from Washington High College in 1953. He then attended SLI in Lafayette, where by he participated in ROTC for 4 years, right up until his graduation in 1956. He attained a BS in Training and also a Master’s Diploma in Training from Nicholls State University. Charles taught in numerous colleges through St. Landry Parish, like Eunice Elementary, Highland Elementary, Washington Higher, Courtableau Elementary, Morrow Elementary, and Grand Prairie Elementary. Charles Ray LeBlanc and Mary Agnes Buller were married on Thanksgiving Working day, November 22, 1956. He was preceded in dying by his mother and father, Clarence, and Lois Ortego LeBlanc a son, Gordon Charles LeBlanc a grandson, Phillip Wesley LeBlanc and a brother, John Earl LeBlanc. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Dwayne Joubert at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral household.
