A few Memphis space educators are in the running for main awards

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three Memphis space educators are in the jogging for main awards.

Collierville Elementary School Principal Tyler Salyer is a person of nine finalists for Tennessee’s 2021-22 Principal of the 12 months, and Zoe Bozeman with Bartlett Town Schools and Charlotte Fisher with Tipton County Educational institutions are two of 8 finalists for Supervisor of the Calendar year.

The Tennessee Office of Education created the announcement Monday. According to the TDOE, “The Tennessee Principal of the Year award is awarded every year to a faculty chief for exceptional provider in training and exceptional management that drives overall advancements in his or her faculty. To qualify, candidates have to have a minimum amount of one particular year of practical experience as a principal and a bare minimum of a few many years of expertise in community faculties. In addition, all nominees should have a tested monitor document of extraordinary gains in scholar mastering.”

The nine finalists for 2021-22 Principal of the 12 months are:

To qualify for the Tennessee Supervisor of the Yr, “Candidates have to show a document of applying revolutionary packages and running and motivating students and schools.
