4 new instructors in Barron District |

The Barron Place University District welcomed 4 new individuals to its personnel at the Aug. 16 faculty board meeting.

New personnel users for the upcoming school 12 months involve Raelin Sorenson, 4K/SPED instructor at Woodland Elementary Brandon Thalacker, SPED trainer at Riverview Center Faculty Carolyn Bauer, Montessori information for 1-3rd grade and Chris Boland, technical education teacher.

Raelin Sorensen

Sorensen is from Balsam Lake and done her bachelor’s degree at UW-Stout in early childhood schooling and special education and learning. She previously worked at Roots and Branches Early Childcare Center in Frederic.

“I chose to get the job done in Barron because I college student taught listed here and beloved the atmosphere,” she said. “I am pretty thrilled to be doing work with 4K, as that is where my enthusiasm lies. Among remaining with 4K and at a university where by I really like their values, I am incredibly happy remaining on the Barron team.”

In her spare time, Sorensen enjoys fishing, climbing, touring, photography, remaining outside the house and staying with relatives.

Brandon Thalacker

Thalacker is from Chetek and has a degree from UW-Stout in vocational rehabilitation and cross categorical educating certification. He also intends to coach 7th grade boys basketball.

He taught previously at Turtle Lake Substantial College and has subbed at Barron colleges.

In his spare time, Thalacker mentioned he enjoys paying out time with his spouse, Jolene, and youngsters Nason, Ava, Ella and Vada.

Carolyn Bauer

Bauer is from Prentice and obtained an associates diploma from UW-Barron County and her bachelor’s diploma from UW-Eau Claire. She was a clinic treatment assistant at Cambridge Senior Residing ahead of taking the educating job.

“I’m passionate about coming alongside each grown ups and children in an genuine, type and encouraging way! I adore supporting them as they cultivate the probable inside of them selves!” she claimed.

When she’s not in the classroom, Bauer enjoys mountaineering, tenting, canoeing, producing, looking at, singing and enjoying guitar.

Chris Boland

Boland is a technological schooling instructor with a degree from UW-Stout. He previously taught tech ed for six decades in the Luck College District and has also taught at Northwest Passage Kid and Adolescence Middle in Frederic.

Boland lives on a tiny passion farm among Luck and Cumberland with his wife, Kristin, and little ones, Ann and Mike.

“We get in touch with it ‘Green Eggs and Lamb’ farm,” mentioned Boland. “We preserve sheep, poultry, bees and a modest yard that delivers us with refreshing foodstuff.”
